E-Learning Course: Ensuring Safety and Protection from Violence for Children in Detention

This free online course is part of the Data for Monitoring the Safety of Imprisoned Children (Data MOSAIC) project, funded by the European Commission under the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values (CERV) programme.
The course includes two interactive modules focused on building a rights-based, non-discriminatory and systematic approach to data collection on violence against children (VAC) in detention.
Participants will gain practical tools and guidance to identify trends, address protection gaps, and support child-friendly, preventive measures. Designed for professionals working in justice, monitoring, or child protection systems, the course promotes institutional accountability and improved safeguards for children in custodial settings.

After completing each module, you will assess your knowledge with a final assessment. Once successfully completing all modules and assessments, you will receive a certificate.
