A commitment to child-friendly justice

This brochure is a guide to donor for Tdh’s work in promoting restorative justice for children. It starts with a brief comparison between punitive and restorative justice. It argues that punitive justice is not appropriate for children as children in punitive justice system are only sent to jail. While in contrary, restorative justice is more preferred for positive outcome. Examples are provided for both systems. The document presents Tdh’s achievements on restorative justice in Latin America, Africa and Middle East and also introduces the philanthropy at Tdh. It guides how an interested donor can help funding the projects.
