We are accepting applications to host interactive 60-minute parallel sessions (in-person workshops) at the 5th Edition of the World Congress on Justice With Children in Madrid.
Align your session with the World Congress theme "Advancing Child-Centred Justice: Preventing and Responding to Violence Affecting Children in Child Justice Systems" or one of these key sub-topics:
• Child-centred justice policy reform
• Ending Child Detention • Justice in Times of Crises
• Digital Justice Procedural Safeguards in Child Justice
• Neuro developmental Science Approaches in Child Justice Systems
• Community Empowerment
What is a Parallel Session (Workshop)?
A workshop is a dynamic, interactive session where participants dive deep into critical issues surrounding child justice, sharing ideas, tools, and innovations.
Eligibility Criteria
• Must be submitted by an official organisation or an independent consultant with proven experience.
• Prior participation in previous World Congress or GIJWC advisory meetings is a plus!
• Up to 4 speakers maximum including facilitator (if applicable) Preferably confirmed participation.
Important Submission Requirement
Workshops must include more than one speaker. If you wish to submit an application as an individual speaker, please wait for the Call for Individual Applications. Submissions for workshops with only one speaker will not be processed.
Submit a detailed summary outlining your objectives, structure, and expected outcomes.
Important: Accepted participants will be notified and must register for the World Congress. A special participatory fee applies.
